Just a quick update today with two shots from this week just gone. The first shows some steam on the lake surface of Mount Ruapehu. This is a topic of interest for many pilots, as an eruption can have significant implications for flying (remember Iceland?). On a good note though, the news today suggests that the lake temperature is showing signs of cooling.
The second shot is a bit more abstract, showing Rotorua from a long exposure at night. This shot was captured by placing the camera near the window, and keeping everything as still as possible. If you ask me, it didn't come out too bad!
